Olga Chenina attended the Federal Tax Authority’s (FTA) Corporate Tax Awareness Workshop in Dubai on 29 May, 2025. It was both enlightening and professionally rewarding.
Highlighting the importance of timely registration, the workshop offered a comprehensive overview of the U.A.E.’s Corporate Tax Law. A key focus was the recent Cabinet Decision to waive administrative penalties for late submission of Corporate Tax registration applications.
FTA’s workshop had a strong turnout and active participation from the attendees with approximately 940 representatives of businesses, several government entities and stakeholders present. Engaging with such a diverse group of professionals fostered valuable discussions and insights.
Beyond the informative presentations, the workshop was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and meet new industry peers. These interactions enriched the experience and strengthened professional networks, opening doors to future collaboration.
Overall, the workshop was a significant step towards fostering a culture of compliance and transparency within the U.A.E.’s corporate sector. It was a pleasure to be part of such a pivotal initiative.
